More than hot air
Unlike its nearest neighbour Canada is committed to ratifying the Kyoto Protocol and has developed a Climate Change Plan to help it meet its targets. Mark Madras assesses the implications for corporate counsel
On 21 November, 2002, the Government of Canada released its Climate Change Plan. The Plan is billed as a made-in-Canada strategy to meet our Kyoto Protocol obligations. The Government remains determined to ratify Kyoto by the end of this year.
