Landwell offloads tax team amid audit fears

PricewaterhouseCoopers’ (PwC’s) London law arm Landwell has offloaded its lucrative tax litigation team due to fears the team would conflict with tough new US restrictions on audit-tied practices.

The six-lawyer team, led by partner Simon Whitehead, has moved to the UK branch of US firm Dorsey & Whitney, along with its entire client base and support staff.
