Derks Star partner retires as disciplinary case looms

The partner with Dutch firm CMS Derks Star Busmann at the centre of a billing row has retired after being ordered to attend a public disciplinary hearing.

Utrecht-based bankruptcy specialist Niek Wilke has told the firm he intends to retire on 1 April, a date that coincides with the planned disciplinary hearing.
