MoFo swoops on Brobecks corporate duo

San Francisco’s Morrison & Foerster (MoFo) has hired two corporate partners from Brobeck Phleger & Harrison’s San Diego branch as US rivals continue to circle around the disintegrating West Coast giant.

The pair, Jay de Groot and Steven Rowles, are among the first senior lawyers to leave Brobecks following the shock decision last Thursday (30 January) to dissolve the firm.
