Linklaters agrees to hand over Enron documents

Linklaters has been ordered by a US court to hand over documents relating to corporate advice it gave the collapsed energy giant Enron.

The firm has confirmed to Legal Week that it will abide by the 16 January ruling by Judge Arthur Gonzalez of the Southern District of New York Bankruptcy Court that it hand over the documents to Enron’s bankruptcy examiner, Neal Batson.
