Irish lawyers have been on a roller-coaster ride over the past decade. Fortune has smiled on Ireland. Its US and EU links have proved a fertile base for a blossoming economy and the Government has encouraged inward investment with a healthy tax climate for corporates.
But for now, the good times are over and companies face tougher times. Irish lawyers are not immune to the economic malaise confronting their clients, but they are likely to miss the harsher vestiges of the economic slump.
