Linklaters Dutch launch leads to De Brauw row

Plans by London giant Linklaters to launch a heavyweight Dutch practice with a raid on top Dutch firm De Brauw Blackstone Westbroek have drawn the two former allies into an acrimonious row.

Although Linklaters has already interviewed De Brauw partners about joining its new local practice, the Dutch firm is understood to have threatened its former UK suitor with legal action if it goes ahead with partner appointments.
