Spain's Uria & Menendez ties up new Sao Paulo firm for Brazilian alliance

Sao Paulo: new territory for Uria Premier Spanish firm Uria & Menendez has boosted its presence in the fast developing Brazilian market after hiring two Sao Paulo lawyers to form an allied local practice.

The deal will see Brazilian lawyer Henrique Dias Carneiro become a partner with Uria from 1 January, 2003, alongside one other locally qualified lawyer who joins the Spanish leader as an associate.
