GMC calls in Addleshaws to handle disciplinary cases

Addleshaw Booth & Co has won a tender to advise the General Medical Council (GMC) – the medical profession’s governing body – on professional misconduct issues.

The move sees the firm’s professional negligence team, led by litigation partners Quentin Smith and James Preece, join the panel to advise the GMC on disciplinary cases against doctors.
