Reed Smith secures major California merger

Reed Smith has secured final approval for a major West Coast merger after partners backed a deal to tie up with Californian firm Crosby Heafey Roach & May.

The Pittsburgh-based firm’s partnership announced the decision on 31 October with 215-lawyer Crosby Heafey officially to merge on 1 January 2003, giving Reed Smith a total of almost 1,000 lawyers.
