Reed Smith forges California merger deal

Philadelphia-based firm Reed Smith has announced a merger deal with California’s Crosby Heafey Roach & May in a bid to extend its practice into the West Coast.

The agreed merger between Reed Smith’s 725-lawyer practice and Crosbys is tabled to go live on 1 January 2003, pending a partners’ vote.
