Lawyers welcome EU enlargement plans

Lawyers across Europe have warmly welcomed the European Commission’s (EC’s) plans to press ahead with bringing 10 new countries into the EU.

This month’s historic EC enlargement plan will see the EU go from 15 to 25 members starting in 2004 – bringing with it a major fillip for Europe’s legal sector.
