M&A:
Simmons & Simmons has advised Nasdaq listed Bio-Technology General, which develops, manufactures and markets healthcare products, on its acquisition of Rosemont Pharmaceuticals for £64m. The Simmons team was led by corporate partner Mark Curtis. The vendor, a subsidiary of Dutch firm Akzo Nobel, was advised by in-house lawyers Hans Pegt, Henriette van Rijssen and Julia Martin.

SJ Berwin corporate finance partners Jonathan Metliss and Delphine Currie, assisted by senior corporate assistants Tandeep Minhas and Jacqui Adams, advised The British Land Company on the £13.4m cash offer by its wholly-owned subsidiary UPH, for FRP Group, an unquoted residential property investment company. The vendor was advised by Stephen Ronaldson, a partner at Ronaldsons.
