The Court Service’s latest survey of user satisfaction has shown marked support for a shake-up of the UK’s court system, despite a majority expressing satisfaction with the status quo.

Seven out of 10 court users said they were in favour of the expansion of internet services to carry out court business, an approach pioneered by the Court Service’s Money Claim Online scheme, launched in March this year. The service allows claimants to instigate debt recovery proceedings over the web.
