CC's South African ally takes 15 in KPMG raid

KPMG’s South African tax and legal arm has been rocked by the departure of 15 lawyers following a raid by Clifford Chance’s (CC’s) local ‘best friend’ Sonnenberg Hoffmann Galombik.

All but one of the international tax experts leaving KPMG are from the Cape Town office. Twelve are assistants, and two partners Wally Horak and Peter Dachs are also leaving.
