Reed Smith in West Coast merger talks

Anglo-American firm Reed Smith is in merger talks aimed at securing a major presence in the Californian legal market.

The Pittsburgh-based firm, which merged with London’s Warner Cranston in 2000, is believed to be in talks with California firm Crosby Heafey Roach & May.
