Top firms plot Canary Wharf move

White & Case is among a clutch of top US and UK law firms that are in talks to set up offices in Canary Wharf. Negotiations are focusing on the large space at Citigroup’s Docklands HQ, which the bank is keen to sublet as soon as possible.

White & Case is close to agreeing a deal that would see it move its entire London base in exchange for legal work from Citibank subsidiary Schroder Salomon Smith Barney.
