SJ Berwin partner David Ryland has acted for Matrix Securities to set up the Matrix Portfolio No.1 Fund, a joint venture with the Bank of Scotland, to buy a portfolio of commercial properties throughout the UK. The fund is valued at £350m.
Linklaters partner Chris Coombe and associate Mike Shaw advised Ropemaker Properties, the property holding arm for BP Pension Fund, on its purchase of six industrial properties costing £19m.
