Experts condemn Government medical negligence proposals

Legal experts have condemned proposals to scrap legal aid for clinical negligence cases amid mounting expectations that the UK Government is gearing up to shift such claims to privately funded conditional fees.

Medical negligence experts are warning that insurance providers in the sector would create havoc if legal aid is withdrawn.
