A Legal Director Benchmarker survey conducted in April this year found that UK businesses felt more burdened than ever by employment legislation.
The poll of 300 companies, in association with Penningtons, revealed that four out of five believed that the level of employment legislation was too high. In addition, few thought it would improve, with 93% of respondents saying they expected the burden to increase during the next three years.
