spanglerBerwin Leighton Paisner (BLP) has bolstered its investment funds group by hiring a senior associate from Latham & Watkins as a partner.
Timothy Spangler – who is qualified at the New York Bar and in English law – joins BLP this month as a partner, bringing the firm’s funds group up to 11 lawyers.

Prior to joining Lathams’ London office in May 2000, Spangler worked for Clifford Chance (CC) in London and for both the Singapore and New York offices of Rogers & Wells, the US firm that was taken over by CC in 2000.
