Lesley MacDonaghLovells is to slash the size of its management as the City giant moves to concentrate power in the hands of a strengthened executive team.
The shake-up, which is being spearheaded by managing partner Lesley MacDonagh, will see the scrapping of the firm’s existing executive committee and management board, which between them have about 30 members, to be replaced with two smaller bodies.

The first group, called the international executive, will be in charge of business strategy and management. The second, dubbed the partnership council, will focus on partnership issues and executive oversight.
