BLP wins new client with £950m transport PFI

BLP Berwin Leighton Paisner (BLP) has won a substantial new client in AWSR Shipping, the consortium that has sealed a £950m PFI deal to provide a strategic transport service to the Ministry of Defence (MoD).

Under the deal, AWSR will provide the MoD with the service using six new roll-on roll-off ships being built in Germany and the UK.
