US giant Baker & McKenzie has acquired Spanish boutique Garcia-Trevijano in a bid to strengthen its public law practice.
Name partner Jose Antonio Garcia-Trevijano will join Bakers as an international partner. His brother, Ernesto Garcia-Trevijano, is also joining as a partner from the Consejo de Estado, the Spanish State Advisory Council, where he currently works advising the government on public law.
