Ashurst Morris Crisp has strengthened
its relationship with blue chip client Royal & SunAlliance (RSA) this month by advising the composite insurer on the £133m cash disposal of its Isle of Man-based life assurance operations to Friends Provident.

The sell-off of Royal & SunAlliance International Financial Services (RSAIFS) is part of RSA’s capital-raising programme and leaves the insurer more than halfway to achieving the £800m target from disposals that it announced in November.
