Accountancy giant Ernst & Young (E&Y) is to separate the management of its legal and tax practices as part of a bid to turn its 2,000-lawyer network into a leading international law practice.
The move to overhaul E&Y’s legal arm comes in the wake of the acquisition this year of much of the European practice of the disintegrating Andersen Legal network, including its respected arms in France and Germany.
