Boston's Binghams secures San Francisco merger

Boston restructuring specialist Bingham Dana is to next month formally merge with San Francisco’s McCutchen Doyle Brown & Enersen to form the top 20 US law firm Bingham McCutchen.

The merger bid, first revealed by Legal Week in March, sees the creation of an 820-lawyer firm with a combined fee income of more than $400m (£273.97m). Binghams’ partners voted on the deal on Wednesday (29 May).
