Barlows acts for aviation specialists on 'cartel' claim

Barlow Lyde & Gilbert is acting for the Lloyds Market Association’s Lloyds Aviation Underwriters Association (LAUA) in a rare major competition case for the City insurance specialist.

LAUA, which makes up half of the aviation insurance market, is being accused of cartel practices by the European Commission (EC) following changes to its commercial airline cover following the 11 September attacks.
