CC's Brobecks raid: 35 partners set to jump ship

Clifford Chance (CC) is set to make a dramatic entrance into the Californian legal market as the magic circle firm gears up to take on as many as 35 partners from US technology giant Brobeck Phleger & Harrison.

Previous reports have indicated that the UK firm was considering a deal to take on 11 securities litigation partners from the San Francisco-based Brobecks.
