GraphThis week’s Big Question tackles the hardy perennial of US firms in London – a topical issue given the recent news of Sonnenschein Nath & Rosenthal’s impending re-entry into the London market and the scaling down of Buchanan Ingersoll’s office in the capital.

According to Legal Week’s survey of 100 leading lawyers, a clear majority of respondents still believe the US invaders are making a very good fist of their London operations. The American operations in the City are rated as ‘quite successful’, by 63.5% of the panel, while 15% rate them as ‘successful’ – similar figures to last year’s poll.
