Chicago’s Katten Muchin Zavis has taken over New York firm Rosenman & Colin to create 675-lawyer firm KMZ Rosenman.
The deal, which was agreed last month, secures the 435-lawyer Katten Muchin its first sizeable entrance into the New York market and is further evidence of expansion by Chicago-based firms, both through interstate mergers and internationally.
