Dutch firms suffer as Norton Rose secures local law team

Arent The turnover of senior Dutch lawyers has hit a new high following a raid by top 10 UK firm Norton Rose on local firms Houthoff Buruma and Van Doorne to launch its Netherlands practice.

The two Dutch firms lost six partners between them within a week, with four of the partners joining Norton Rose’s new Amsterdam practice, which was launched in March through the acquisition of two-partner corporate boutique Groenewald van Wassenaer.
