Clyde & Co has advised long-standing information management client Microgen on its £19.6m acquisition of business software company OST Business Rules together with a £4.2m related share placing.

The London offices of Bristol-based Laytons advised the shareholders of OST, with Osborne Clarke advising key client 3i Group, which held shares in OST. Jones Day Reavis & Pogue acted for US investors in the issue and Linklaters advised the deal’s sponsors, UBS Warburg.
