Anglo-Saxon giants win student hearts

The magic circle firms and the top accountancy-tied practices are pushing ahead of local rivals in attracting German law students, according to research published this month.

A study of 1,368 German law students by Berlin-based research company Trendence found the local practices of Freshfields Bruckhaus Deringer and Clifford Chance Puender were the most highly ranked places in which to work.
