Tech-hit Brobecks cuts again as 54 US lawyers go

Struggling West Coast firm Brobeck Phleger & Harrison has made more than 50 lawyers redundant in a second wave of cuts which saw a total of 139 staff being laid off in the US.

The latest cuts will see 54 associates forcibly made redundant, along with 85 other staff. They come only two months after the voluntary redundancy programme which shed 82 associates.
