Wragge & Co has won a groundbreaking interim ruling for its longstanding client Land Rover against accountancy firm KPMG, banning its insolvent UPF-Thompson from backing out of its contract to supply the car company with parts.

The decision, a high profile instruction for Wragges’ top-tier litigation team, could put an end to the practice of receivers of insolvent suppliers demanding huge sums from manufacturers for the continuation of supply.
