Most firm marriages have failed, says survey

More than half the mergers in the past 18 months involving the UK’s top 100 law firms have failed to deliver their expected value.

According to a survey undertaken by Legal Week’s sister magazine Legal IT and PA Consulting, only 44% of recently merged firms believe the benefits of their merger have been maximised.
