Enron affair derails big five US plans

Enron The Andersen lawyer at the centre of the missing Enron documents scandal has denied giving the firm’s auditing team the go ahead to destroy key auditing paperwork.

The denial by Nancy Temple comes as senior accountancy sources have conceded to Legal Week that the Enron controversy has derailed the big five’s drive to set up their own law firms in the US.
