Shearmans appoints Pidot to Asian helm

Top US firm Shearman & Sterling has appointed its outgoing firm-wide managing partner Whitney Pidot as head of its Asian practice.

Pidot has been managing partner of New York-based Shearmans from 1998 until this year and will now be based in Singapore in order to oversee the firm’s Asian offices.
