Mark Thomson, a partner with Schilling & Lom, has joined niche media firm Peter Carter-Ruck & Partners. Thomson, a specialist in defamation, privacy and breach of confidence, will join as a partner in the media litigation division of Peter Carter-Ruck in the New Year. He has been with Schilling & Lom since qualifying.
Thomson’s arrival will bring the number of partners at Peter Carter-Ruck to 10. Herbert Smith assistant Adam Tudor and costs draftsman Philip Reader, formerly with Clifford Chance, have also joined the firm this month.
