UK partner lands Couderts top job

Stephen Beharrell International law firm Coudert Brothers has appointed UK partner Steven Beharrell as its first non-American head following his election as chief executive this week. The management shake-up has also seen the firm appoint its first woman to the board.

Beharrell, who will relocate to New York in the New Year, succeeds Anthony Williams with immediate effect. After eight years as chairman, Williams has been elected to the executive board.
