Norton Rose acted for Scottish Power on its acquisition of Powergen’s 715 MW Rye House power station for £220m. The proposed acquisition is subject to several conditions, including regulatory approval.

The team was led by corporate finance partner Alan Crookes and projects partner Simon Currie. The team worked with Scottish Power’s legal team, led by Genoffir Reid. Freshfields Bruckhaus Deringer, led by finance manager Andrew Petry, advised Powergen, whose team was led by Mark Bygraves.
