CC partner takes over Legal Practice Course

Clifford Chance partner Michael Mathews is retiring to become chairman of the Law Society’s
Legal Practice Course (LPC) board in a move that could signal a greater focus on City training requirements.

Mathews, who was president of the Law Society from 1998-99, is leaving Clifford Chance on Monday (31 July). He will take over from the current chair of the LPC board, Michael Long, in September.
