Manchester-based Cobbetts has provided its charity expertise for free to help set up the Tracy Shaw Foundation, a charity for eating disorder sufferers.

Charities partner Kathryn Graham, who joined the firm 15 months ago from Eversheds, advised the charity, which is dedicated to raising funds to provide a better understanding of eating disorders such as anorexia and bulimia. The founder, actress Tracy Shaw, is better known as Maxine Peacock in Coronation Street. She has also spoken publicly about her battle with eating disorders, although she has now recovered.
