Hammond Suddards has boosted its construction department with the appointment of Julia Court as a partner in the firm’s London office. Court has moved from City firm Lovells, where she spent 12 years and was a senior assistant.

She will deal with contentious and non-contentious domestic and international project work. This gives Hammonds, which will boost its London office with its surprise merger with Edge Ellison, one of the largest construction departments in the country, with more than 14 partners and 40 other fee earners nationally.
