Trowers & Hamlin acted for the Amphion Consortium, a housing consortium comprising 15 housing associations led by Hyde, Swale and Hastoe, which signed up with Beazer Partnership Homes for a programme to facilitate more than £100m to build new social housing in the southeast of England. The project represents the largest-ever social housing partnering programme. Head of projects and construction David Mosey led the team. Eversheds in Newcastle, led by property partner Mary Herbert, advised Beazer.

Charles Russell advised County Hall Gallery on its lease of the ground and basement floors of the former County Hall building on the South Bank, which will bring the first permanent exhibition works of Salvador Dali to London in May 2000.
