Jones Lang recruits Barclays' McCarthy

Martyn McCarthy, a former chair of the Law Society Commerce and Industry (C&I) Group has left Barclays to join newly-merged global property group Jones Lang LaSalle.

McCarthy, who chaired the C&I Group between 1997 and 1998 joined Jones Lang LaSalle on August 1 as a compliance officer and associate director.
