Walker Morris stops low-value debt

Leeds firm Walker Morris has axed its debt recovery service for small clients – hard on the heels of Leeds rival Addleshaw Booth & Co’s decision to shut its debt collection arm altogether.

The 33-partner firm has put its decision down to the commoditisation of debt recovery work and says it will focus its debt recovery practice on higher value work for institutional clients.
