Maclays pension team hit by defection

Leading Scottish pensions lawyer Sue Beaumont has quit Maclay Murray & Spens to set up a pensions practice at fellow Glasgow firm Biggart Baillie.

The loss of one of the leading young solicitors in the field barely a year after Beaumont was poached from MacRoberts is a blow for the standing of Maclays’ highly-rated pensions team, currently led by senior partner Andrew Fleming.
