A team of Linklaters lawyers based in London have advised HSBC on its exit from Argentina, where hyperinflation and a sinking local currency have made it difficult to operate in recent years.
The buyer, Argentine financial group Galicia, was advised by Latham & Watkins on the $550 million purchase.
